Seeing that you've taken the time to visit and everything, I should be hospitable and introduce myself... My name's Melissa Spring, but most people just call me Mel. I'm 19 and originally from Geelong, Victoria, Australia, but moved to Melbourne to go to uni. But unfortunately I'm moving back to Geelong very shortly. Ya see I've deferred from my course (second year Speech Pathology) 'cos I HATE it. But that also means moving out of the college that I've been living in for the past 18 months. *sigh* I'm NOT looking forward to that ONE bit! On campus, I lived at Menzies College, on 3 North to be precise.. the BEST floor in college. The people there are the acest!! I'll miss them STACKS! And if I'm going to be even MORE precise, in room 332, which was the same room as last year. Look after it for me Cazza! =) College life is the BEST life... I dunno HOW I'm gonna handle living at "home" again.. Once I get my arse into gear, I'll put up some pics from my latest film so then you'll be able to see what kinda weirdarse stuff I used to get up to. But for now you'll have to put up with old dodgy ones. Oh yeah, and that's me over there.... the one in the Pearl Jam T-shirt. It was taken ages ago.. and that's a mate of mine there with me. I SWEAR I'll put a more recent one up SOON... Oh, and I'm normally happier than I am in that pic.. in fact I'm one of the happiest people I know, (if not THE happiest). Now that I've taken 6 months off to work and sort out what I want to do with my life, I have to move out and move on. Any ideas on what I should do????? | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Apart from partying with my mates, my other passion in life is Pearl Jam, (as everyone who lives at Menzies knows). I was lucky enough to catch the boys when they toured out here last March, and they went OOOOFFFFFFFFFF!!!! It was certainly one of my fave memories from this year.. if not ever! Fave PJ song???..... where do I start??? At the obvious, I guess: Black, Rearview Mirror, Corduroy, Smile, MFC, Release, Lukin.. etc.. but then I LOVE Yellow Ledbetter, Footsteps and Angel. At the first show, Black was so incredibly powerful. I was at the front of the mosh at that stage and Eddie looked down into the crowd as he sang "I know some day you'll have a beautiful life..." and I SWORE he looked at me, even though I KNOW he didn't. *SIGH* I also happen to have a few (and I mean FEW) bootlegs... drop me a line if you're after a trade or a tape copy of any of em. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Now I guess I'll get a little specific about me... | MY LIKES- Pearl Jam (oh der), TOOL, strawberries, white chocolate, sleeping in, partying, drinking ANY alcohol- but at the moment I have a soft spot for home-made punch and southern (not mixed together!), making a dick of myself (I'm VERY good at that), singing (just ask anyone who lives near me), and on the singing note- Karaoke in Sloth's room, chickens and frogs- for some unknown reason, swimming, Days Of Our Lives (I'm fully addicted to that show, don't ask me why..), getting pissed and singing madonna/abba songs, and SHOPPING!!!! MY HATES- people who LIE to me or PURPOSEFULLY DECEIVE me, man stealing "friends", spewing after drinking too much, getting up early, fire drills at 7am, when the fire alarms go spaccers and go off at 5am after a hard night on the piss when you've only JUST got to sleep and have a sore knee from drunken escapades and have to lug your arse down the bloody stairs- sit around for half an hour in the FREEZING cold and then lug your arse and sore knee upstairs again, having my photo taken (I'm REALLY unphotogenic) EXAMS!!!!!! (YUCKO!) (and the same goes for supp exams too), ham steaks (EW!!), the WANKERS at Glenn College (our rival college at La Trobe), people who crack it with me for MONTHS and then expect the animosity to stop when they decide to e-mail you, and Mariah Carey (she should have been drowned at birth)...
